Healthcare experts such as physiologists, physical therapists and chiropractors have known for many decades that postural misalignment may lead to chronic conditions and body pains. Think of the body like a car. If the car is out of allignment then the tires start to wear. Tire wear can lead to tire imbalance which can lead to wheel bearings wearing more quickly.
In people, posture is often driven by body shape, weight distribution, core strength, injury etc. When your posture is out of allignment, you may put more pressure on specific joint, muscles, etc. while others are engaged more aggressively to try and rebalance you. All of this activity can drive chronic and transient pain.
